Essentia Health Tree of Lights Festival Kicks Off
Hoping to raise money for the Virginia Cancer Center
There are only 38 days until Christmas and folks in Virginia, Minnesota are preparing for the holiday already.
It’s Essentia Health’s annual Tree of Lights Festival, and the community is invited to come out and donate money and buy raffle tickets.
Each year they pick an organization to donate their proceeds to and this year it’s the Virginia Cancer Center.
Sam Stone, the Administrator for Essentia, said “There is always a need along with many other patient needs that require a lot of funding.”
The event takes place in the Mcmillan Auditorium inside Essentia Health.
They hope to raise $20,000 for the center.
