School Threat Made by Hoyt Lakes Juvenile

BCA identified the individual Wednesday

A Hoyt Lakes juvenile male has been accused of posting a message in an online chat room, threatening violence at a northern Minnesota school.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension identified him, Wednesday.

The BCA said there is currently no ongoing threat to any schools in relation the incident.

Investigators had determined that the juvenile had no access to weapons and his parents are cooperating fully with the investigation, according to the BCA.

The juvenile is not currently in custody, but the BCA is discussing possible charges with the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office.
