Ice Sculpture Being Rebuilt

Old Man Winter Was Not Cooperating With Roger Hanson This Season

After the collapse of the ice sculpture in superior, Roger Hanson is back at work trying to make up lost time.

What was a 65 foot structure was mostly a crumble or ruins a week ago but progress has been made since then, however there are times that old man winter hasn’t been cooperating with Roger.

“This weekend we had some really really stiff easterly winds and I was unable to do anything with that kind of wind,” said Roger.

Work will continue throughout the rest of the winter as the ice sculpture starts to grow once again and who knows, maybe Mother Nature will be more cooperative this time around.
