The reconstruction of 4th Street in Duluth has wrapped up its construction for the year and has reopened.

The street had been under construction for four months.

The work at the site included new water and gas lines, as well as some paving.

Temporary lights have been placed at the intersections and decorative lighting will be installed this winter.

Work on the street will continue in spring, which will include reconstruction of the street, along with replacing more utilities underneath the street.
