Armed Robbery at Kosta’s Gyros in Superior

On the night of Friday, November 18, 2016, Superior Police responded to the report of an armed robbery at Kosta’s Gyros at 809 Tower Avenue.

According to the employee working, two white males entered the restaurant wearing dark clothes and hoods over their heads, and bandanas over their faces.

At least one of the males had a handgun and demanded money from the till.

Suspects were able to take an undetermined amount of money from the restaurant and fled on foot.

The suspects were tracked to a location where a car was parked. The vehicle fled the area and is believed to have been caught on local surveillance (photo above.)
