Betty’s Pies Prepares Dessert for Thanksgiving

This year is the busiest Thanksgiving season ever for Betty's

Turkey and stuffing are Thanksgiving favorites but so are the desserts, and people all over the country are making sure they have pie to serve on the holiday.

This is the busiest pie making season for Betty’s Pies in Two Harbors, and this year is their busiest Thanksgiving ever.

Over the last two weeks, Betty’s has sold over 4,500 pies and people are coming from all over to get their holiday dessert at Betty’s.

“Multiple people have said they’ve traveled from South Dakota or North Dakota just to get our pies for Thanksgiving, especially from the cities, the Twin Cities, they come up a lot just for our pies,” says Liz Redden, waitress and supervisor at Betty’s Pies.

Pumpkin, pecan, and five layer chocolate are the most popular pie varieties for the Thanksgiving season.
