UMD Students Raise Money for Local Charities

Students Raise Money Through Entrepreneurship

An entrepreneurship class at UMD is raising money for local charities in a very unique way.

The thirty students are creating their own business and all of their proceeds will go to local charities.

This group created Hangover Helper Kits and they are filled with Advil and other things you might need if you have a hangover or if you are sick.

All of this groups proceeds will go to Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Sarah Hinz, a student at UMD, said “What’s cool about them is stuff used to treat a hangover is also good with wellness stuff so it’s a versatile product that applies to a lot of students.”

The kits are on sale at UMD throughout this week and next.
