Nordic Center Hosts Holiday Events

The Gingerbread City is Open on Weekends

The Nordic Center in Duluth hosted a full day of holiday events.

It’s the Nordic Center’s 5th year having the Gingerbread city available for the public to visit. Children had the chance to learn about Nordic culture through creating crafts and treats, and enjoying the Gingerbread city viewing.

“It’s a way to share Nordic traditions in Minnesota, for everybody to learn about what do you do in the winter, in the dark winter, how do you make it cozy and how do you bring people together and it’s a kick off to the holiday season,” said Alison Aune, a board member at the Nordic Center.

The gingerbread city is open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5pm.
