Duluth Police Department issues Drug Overdose Warning

6 drug-related overdoses have been reported in 5 days

The Duluth Police Department has issued a Drug Overdose Warning after six drug-related overdoses have occurred since Thursday, November 28.

Overdoses are reported to have been a result of the use of opioids. There have been no deaths as a result of these overdoses in Duluth.

Police issued the warning, after concerns for opioid users and is warning of the risk involved with the use of the drugs, as the content and purity is often unknown and can cause overdoses and/or death.

The Duluth Police Department is currently investigating the drug related overdoses and no other information is available at this time.
