Fennessey Announces Candidacy for Mayor of Superior

He has served on the city council since April

The race for the mayor of superior grew a little larger Monday night.

Brent Fennessey announced his candidacy today in front of friends and family.

Fennessey has served on the Superior City Council since April. He says being part of the city council and working directly with the citizens of Superior has helped prepare him to lead the city in a positive direction.

“We have a strong foundation of financial responsibility and a tremendous credit rating,” Fennessey said. “We have a financial reserve that’s been built up. We have the foundation, now it’s time to build on that and move Superior forward.”

Fennessey joins three others including Jim Paine, Jeffery Monaghan and Kaylee Hermanson on the list of candidates who have announced they will run for mayor of Superior.
