Gateway Tower maintenance will temporarily close Superior Street
Work will begin on December 1 at 7 a.m.
The City of Duluth is informing the public about the temporary closure of Superior Street, west of 6th Avenue West, scheduled for Thursday, December 1, beginning at 7:00 a.m.
The closure is anticipated to last until 2:00 p.m., unless the weather or unforeseen conditions require additional days for work. This will allow for the placement of a crane in front of Gateway Tower apartments for workers to perform scheduled maintenance.
The sidewalk in front of Gateway Tower will be closed to pedestrian traffic. Any adjustments to the Duluth Transit Authority bus route will be available at http://www.duluthtransit.com
Access to Superior Street from I-35 northbound will be limited to the Michigan Street exit and access from West Superior Street by the M&H gas station eastbound will be required to use the Mesaba Avenue exit.
