Cultural Entrepreneurship Fair Brings Ideas to Life

UMD students take ideas learned in the classroom and create real-life businesses.

The cultural entrepreneurship fair highlights the projects of UMD students and gives the public a chance to view them.

The students create different business ideas and work on them all semester long. They applied what they learned in the classroom and created everything from app-based businesses to websites.

“Definitely working as a team and sometimes there have been struggles and we’re also working with our computer science majors so definitely cohesive working has been the biggest part,” said student Anastasiya Kratzner.

The students will work on the financing of their ideas during the spring semester.
