Northlanders are Donating Blood to Save Lives

Every Two Seconds Someone Needs Blood

People across the Northland are donating blood to help save lives.

Memorial Blood Centers is holding a blood drive in many different locations to maintain a stable blood supply this holiday season. Every Two seconds someone needs blood, and patients in hospitals across the country depend on blood donors to survive.

“There is no substitute for human blood, so if you are in a hospital for a accident or surgery or any other reason and you need blood, you need it from somebody else,” said Paul Charles, who works for Memorial Blood Centers.

If you couldn’t donate today, you can schedule an appointment with Memorial Blood Centers.
