Toy Drive at Super America Stores

Toys and cash will be donated to local non-profit organizations

A toy drive is taking place at Super America convenience stores across the Northland.

Anyone wanting to donate can drop off toys at all area Super America stores and can donate cash to the project through Curtis Oil.

The toys and other supplies purchased will be given to two local non-profit organizations who will distribute them to families in need.

“I was buying a lot of presents and it was fun and I was anxious for them to see it and I thought there’s a lot of people who don’t have gifts. Kids can’t open gifts at Christmas and things like that. And I started feeling a little guilty and I thought ‘what can I do to help that’ and the toy drive is what I thought,” says Curtis Oil Convenience Stores operations manager Mike Letica.

The toy drive is being sponsored by Curtis Oil, the Duluth Police Department, Bernick’s Vending, and FOX 21.
