Students Are Graded on the Robots They Built
Lake Superior College students took part in a task robot competition.
At the beginning of the semester instructors presented the students with a task to build their very own robot.
Today those students presented their robot through a friendly competition.
They had to maneuver their robot through a course without touching any of the lines and by picking up four pieces of tupperware.
Matt Farchmin, a Welding Instructor, said “They’ve done a very good job. Stuff we hadn’t even thought of as instructors. They’ve been trouble shooting very well and they’ve done a phenomenal job.”
In the coming weeks, the students will receive a grade for their robot.
