Company Continues to Move Forward Following July Storm

As the Minnesota Ballet continues to move forward following devastating storms in July, the company is preparing for The Nutcracker.

The Christmas tradition is a ballet following the story of a young girl, Clara.

This year, the music will be done by the new Minnesota Ballet Orchestra.

The performances will be Friday, December 9 at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 10 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 11 at 3 p.m.

The Minnesota Ballet is still cleaning up after storms hit the Trade Building, where their studio is located, on July 21.

Artistic Executive Director, Robert Gardner, says many costumes needed to be fixed for this year’s performance of The Nutcracker.
