Salvation Army in Need of Bell Ringers

Over 1300 hours needed to fill before Christmas Eve

The Salvation Army is searching for bell ringers in hopes of raising more funds this holiday season.

They are hoping to raise $625,000 by December 31st.

This money would go to programs that they sponsor year–round like those for hot lunch, homeless, and food shelves.

Right now, they are $30,000 behind where they were last year.

Major Bill Cox said, “We are on the front lines for homelessness and hunger and what we raise at Christmas doesn’t just take care of Christmas but also the year round services we provide.”

You can volunteer to ring the kettle bells by stopping in at the Salvation Army or by clicking here.
