For this week’s Active Adventures we visited Duluth Lawn and Sport.

As the cold temperatures are moving in, many are getting ready for the snowmobile season.

FOX 21’s Natalie Froistad talked with Dave Chrysler at Duluth Lawn and Sport about all the necessities.

Dave said first you need a good pair of gloves.

Shorter gloves are good for competitive riding and longer gloves are good for pleasure riding.

He says snow suits need to be warm, breathable, and water proof.

Helmets are important for safety and warmth.

Dave says if you’ve had your helmet for five years or longer, you need a replacement.

As for sleds, there are snowmobiles for many different riding conditions.
