‘Rogue One’ Lands in Theaters Nationwide
Marcus Cinema in Duluth Prepared for Busy Weekend
DULUTH, Minn. — “Rogue One,” the latest film in the super-popular Star Wars movie franchise has officially landed in theaters.
It’s all hands on deck at the Marcus Cinema in Duluth; managers have hired six additional employees to help with the busy holiday season.
The theater has dedicated four screens for showing “Rogue One.”
General Manager Shawn Fennessey says he wants movie-goers to have as many options as possible to see the highly anticipated film.
“It’s almost playing every half hour,” Fennessey said. “We want to give people lots of show times, lots of choices. We’re starting as early as 7 o’clock in the morning on weekends, and as late as 1 am on the weekends. And all sorts of shows spread out in between.”
And the Marcus Cinema in Duluth is offering a “ReelAbilities” showing of the new Star Wars tomorrow at 10:30 in the morning.
It’s a screening of the film with the lights on and the volume lower, and it’s intended for viewers with disabilities to watch the movie in a more comfortable setting.
