Two Snow Clippers During Next 48 Hours

We had some snow early this morning which was the first of three clippers moving along the Canadian Border. The second clipper will move through tonight with once again a chance of snow from along and North of Highway 2.

A dusting of snow will be seen along Highway 2 with near 2 inches of snow along the Borderlands. Highs in the afternoon will flirt near the freezing mark and will likely exceed 32 degrees along the lakeshore as winds continue out of the southwest at 15 to 20 mph.

The next round of snow will move in Wednesday morning with this storm being slightly further south.

Right now, the forecast projects the heaviest amount of moisture to be concentrated from Bigfork through Silver Bay where 2-4 inches of snow is looking likely at this time. Areas to the north and south of that corridor will expect a dusting to 2 inches of snowfall. Snowfall will end by the evening from northwest to southeast. A few snow showers will continue along the South Shore until 8 or 9 PM.
