Lakeview Christian Hosts Special Youth Practice

Salvation Army's RBA Practices with the LCA boys varsity squad

A group of the Northland’s up and coming basketball stars received a special practice session Wednesday night, as the Lakeview Christian Academy boys varsity basketball team welcomed more than 20 youngsters from the Salvation Army’s Rookie Basketball Association to the gym at St. James School. They focused on the fundamentals of the game as well as developing an early passion that so many current L.C.A. players found when they played for the RBA.

Sophomore Small Forward Jacob Easty says, “Yeah, it’s nice. When I see these kids it kind of brings me back to my days in the RBA and it helps build skills, it’s a great experience. I remember I worked with Lakeview back when I was with RBA and it was just really fun and it helped to get better.”
