Chicago Man Charged with 1st Degree Sale of Heroin

DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Police investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and violent Crime Task Force conducted a search warrant in the 7400 block of Grand Avenue in Duluth, on February 8, 2017. Brandon Coleman, 27, of Chicago, was arrested at the time the search warrant was conducted.

The search warrant was a result of an investigation into the sale of controlled substances, specifically heroin. Investigators recovered approximately 47 grams of heroin, half of which was packed for individual sale and the other half was in one large clump.

$1.220 in U.S. currency was also found, as well as other evidence of drug sales.

On Friday, February 10, Coleman was formally charged in St. Louis District Court on 1st Degree Sale of Heroin.
