Busy Day for The Rose Man
Bouquets are Blowing out the Door at Duluth's Iconic Pink Place on Central Entrance
DULUTH, Minn. – We all know roses are red, violets can be blue, and on Tuesday, Duluth’s iconic Rose Man was a popular destination too!
Those working at the popular Duluth flower shop this Valentine’s Day, say they didn’t get much sleep last night.
“I just like to make sure that everyone gets what they want to come for, and when it’s jammed in this little pink box, we all are really striving to make the best of everything,” said Julie Stabe, Owner of The Rose Man.
Employees, some who come back just for the Valentine holiday, have been working around the clock to prepare orders for those who chose to call ahead for the big day, but for others, last minute chocolate and flowers are also on hand.
Stabe tells FOX 21, she loves seeing returning customers and friends to her shop, making the day a Rose Man tradition.
“We do see a lot of the same people every single year; they make it a Rose Man tradition. It’s really a lot of fun and they usually come get the same thing, but sometimes they mix it up because they’ll say, last year I got red roses so let’s do all white and one red this year,” said Stabe.
Mother’s Day is the second busiest day of the year for the shop located on Central Entrance.
