Experts Discuss Minnesota Children’s Well Being
The Minnesota Kids Count Data Book Helps Policy Makers Make Minnesota a Better Place for Kids
DULUTH, Minn.- Children’s Defense Fund Minnesota presented this year’s Minnesota Kids Count Data Book at Community Action Duluth
The Kids Count Data Book provides state data to show the well-being of Children and families who live in Minnesota. The Data is collected to help policy makers and citizens help make Minnesota a better place for Children. This year’s Kids Count data book focused on early childhood, and childhood development.
“Young children are more likely to live in poverty and of course when you pile on intervention and education early, we’re able to put children on a better path to success,” said Stephanie Hogenson, the Research and Policy Director of the Children’s Defense Fund Minnesota.
