Update on 11th Street Shooting in Duluth

Police Can't Give Any New Information to Protect the Case

DULUTH, Minn.- A shooting that left one person dead happened on 11th Street in Duluth, Tuesday.

Since then the victim has been identified as 22 year old William Andrew Grahek.  A person of interest has been detained since the shooting, but no new updates have been released. Duluth Police Chief Mike Tusken says homicide investigation are some of the most important investigations for the police department, and that releasing too much information at this time could potentially damage their case.

“We know the community really really really wants to have more information, there are just certain things we can’t say right now to maintain the integrity of our investigation,” said Chief Mike Tusken of the Duluth Police Department.

The shooting is still under investigation.
