Animal Answers: Microchipping Month

One in Three Animals Will Go Missing at Some Point, Animal Allies is Looking to Help

DULUTH, Minn. – For this week’s Animal Answers, FOX 21’s Brett Scott took a trip to Animal Allies Humane Society in Duluth to find out more about a helpful event happening during the month of February.

Statistics show one in three animals will go missing at some point in the life, leading to an array of problems.

To celebrate Micro Chipping month, Animal Allies is offering $15 dollar chipping to any animal or a free microchip if you sign up to be a member at the shelter.

Pet parents in the Northland can also log onto the Animal Allies website this month and download a free furry freebie.

The free document allows you to write all your pets’ personal information and past medical history down in one spot.

You can help your pet find their way home in the future by calling Animal Allies at (218) 722-5341 or visit them at 4006 Airport Road in Duluth.
