Fire in Superior Damages Home in Superior

$70,000 Dollars Worth of Damages, But No One Was Injured

SUPERIOR, Wis.- A fire in Superior left behind $70,000 worth of damages to a home.

The Superior Fire Department responded to a fire on Cumming Avenue in Superior late Sunday night.

Upon Arrival Crews saw fire coming from the 2nd floor windows of the building.  Crews were able to extinguish the fire that started in the upstairs apartments kitchen. All occupants were out out of the residence, and no injuries have been reported, besides one dog, who was rescued from the fire and received medical attention.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
