Indoor Golf Range Open Again

The Sweet Spot Re-Opened in January Under New Management

DULUTH, Minn. – With Spring on the way, many local golfers have the itch to hit the links.

The Sweet Spot, West Duluth’s indoor golf range re–opened in mid–January in a new location and with new owners who say business is booming like a Bubba Watson drive.

The Sweet Spot hosted three times the golfers in February as the month before and more are expected as golf season draws near.

“We have both sims full, and as an example, on Saturday there wasn’t a spare hour,” said Stephanie LaFleur, who owns the Sweet Spot with her husband Chris.  “With this beautiful weather coming, it’s given us a huge influx which is awesome and it makes us feel good too because it means we’re doing something that’s being enjoyed.”

At the sweet spot golfers can play a simulated round at one of 87 courses from around the world, including Pebble Beach and the Old Course at St. Andrew’s.
