Local Heroes to Battle on Ice

Hockey Game Supports Northern Lights Foundation

DULUTH, Minn. – Local heroes will soon be battling on the ice for a good cause.

The Duluth Police Department and Duluth Fire Department are preparing for a hockey game for a good cause.

Proceeds from the hockey game will go to The Northern Lights Foundation.

The foundation provides grants to Northland families with children battling life-threatening illnesses.

These grants can be used for anything from medical bills to travel expenses.

The hockey game is Tuesday, March 14 at Amsoil Arena at 5:45 p.m.

This follows the High School Skills Competition at 4:30 p.m. and precedes the High School Hockey All-Star Game at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for youth and $7 for adults.
