312th Army Reserve Engineer Company Returns

Long Stint Overseas Is Over

Duluth, Minn

After 11 months overseas in Kuwait the U.S. Army Reserve 312th Engineer Company returned back to U.S. soil.

Hundreds of loved ones waited anxiously as their husbands, brother’s, sons, daughters and friends arrived this evening at Duluth international airport.

Kelsey Brown married her husband just weeks before he deployed and explains what it was like while he was away.

“It has its days, there are good days and there are bad days. There are days that go by really fast and days that don’t go buy at all” Says Kelsey Brown who’s waiting for her husband.

Just home and able to see his wife, Kevin is ready to experience married life.

“Experiencing married life I guess, we really haven’t done that. Just kind of get back in the routine of things. Just kind of have a normal life again,” Says Kevin Brown of the 312th Reserve.

The Engineering Company worked with heavy equipment during Operation Spartan Shield.
