Superior Hit with Snow

Temperatures Expected to Warm Up

SUPERIOR, Wisc.-Five inches of fresh powder fell in Superior overnight, causing schools there to be cancelled.

With schools beings closed, some kids were put on shovel duty – like one Superior eighth grader who was digging out his neighbor’s driveway.

“We haven’t really had any snow days,” said Garrett Labare, a Superior resident. “I’m thinking this is the first or second. I’m kind of hoping for more, but it also means… [we] will end up having school until the middle of June.”

This winter has brought big temperature swings, as this week is no exception. We’re expecting above-freezing temperatures to return later this week.
