Grandma’s Marathon Announces Musical Acts

Will Feature 90s Bands

DULUTH, Minn.-Grandma’s Marathon announced today that three huge 90s bands will play “Rock the Big Top” party June 16th in Canal Park.

Everclear, Vertical Horizon, and Fastball will be playing some of their biggest hits, to kick off Grandma’s Marathon Weekend.

“Whether you’re volunteering or running or just coming down to spectate…it is a community event and the music aspect is something we added to make sure the community is inclusive,” said Kate Kucinski, public relations director for Grandma’s Marathon.

The rest of the weekend will also be filled with bands playing an array of music including country and rock.

“If Duluth had a Mardi Gras, this would be it,” Kucinski said.

Tickets will go on sale March 24. For more, visit www.grandmasmarathon.com.
