St. Scholastica Day of Giving a Big Hit

School Raised More than $160,000

DULUTH, Minn.-St. Scholastica announced today that its fifth annual Give to CSS Day last week raised more than $160,000.

The purpose is to raise funds for current and future student programming. It was the biggest amount of money donated to the college since the campaign started.

Most of the donations come from alumni.

“A huge thank you is in order to all of our alumni and friends who stepped up and gave because they are invested in the future of this institution,” said John Labosky, St. Scholastica’s vice president for College Advancement, “The momentum for growth at CSS is at an all-time high. That is proven in the groundswell of support we have received.”
