AN Easy Way To Learn While You Eat
What do you get when you mix science and food? Things like liquid nitrogen ice cream and soda pop caviar.
Tonight UMD’s science and engineering students were on hand for their annual science on tap event at Clyde Iron Works. The event showcased different ways to enjoy food while learning at the same time.
“They’re going to learn something without even realizing it about science or engineering. It’s the perfect opportunity to come out and socialize while learning about science in a really fun way,” Says Organizer Charity Rupp.
Organizers say it’s a fun way to encourage youth to learn about stem, but also encourage lifelong stem learning for adults.
