Day Dedicated to Supporting UW-Superior

Coffee Conversation: UWS Day of Giving

SUPERIOR, Wis. – This week there’s an opportunity to give back to a local university.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior Foundation will host its third annual “Superior Day of Giving” on Wednesday, April 5.

This is a 24-hour fundraising drive for alumni, parents, friends, community partners, local businesses, faculty, staff and students.

Donors can choose where they’d like the money to go, but many donations go to The Superior Fund.

The Superior Fund supports important initiatives such as scholarships, academic and student programs and undergraduate research.

The Superior Day of Giving is all about participation, with the goal of 200 donors this year.

As an added incentive, there is a challenge grant for the first $10,000 in donations to the Superior Fund.

Each Superior Fund gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a few very generous Yellowjackets.

This means a $50 gift will have a $100 impact.

To participate, visit uwsuper.edu/SuperiorDayofGiving to donate online, mail a check to UW-Superior Foundation, PO Box 2000, Superior, WI 54880 or call (715) 394-8453.
