Lake Superior Zoo’s Zoomobile Stops By Duluth Library
Children learned about nocturnal creatures from Lake Superior Zoo
Some Northland kids got the chance to get up close to some nocturnal critters today. The Lake Superior Zoo’s Zoomobile made the stop today to teach kids about these interesting critters, and hopefully inspire them to learn more about animals in the future.
“That’s one of the first steps towards conservation,” said Lake Superior Zoo’s Melanie Michaels. “Getting people to learn and care about animals will hopefully make them want to learn more about how to help animals, and take steps toward conservation.”
The kids got to see a little hedgehog, a snake, a tree frog, as well as a big fruit bat.
