Minnesota Named One of the Top 5 States to Retire
ST. PAUL, Minn. – A new report has named Minnesota one of the best states in the nation to retire.
The report, issued by Bankrate.com, ranked all 50 states based on a list of factors, quality of health care, culture, cost of living, weather, taxes, retiree population, crime rate, and well-being.
Taking into account these factors, Bankrate named Minnesota the fifth-best state in the nation to retire. Last year, the American Associated of Retired Persons (AARP) named Minnesota the best state in the nation to retire.
In the report, Minnesota also ranked highest among the states for quality of health care (3rd), the well-being of our seniors (4th), and the access to culture and social amenities (7th).
