New Mayor To Be Elected In Superior

Tomorrow Its Time To Get Out And Vote

Superior, Wis.

The City of Superior is gearing up for a new mayor to be elected in less than 24 hours from now.

It was October of 2016 when current mayor Bruce Hagen decided that it was in his best interest to step aside and let another candidate take the realm.

Brent Fennessey and Jim Paine have done all they can to sway votes their way the last few months.

Both are eager to get to work

“I think Superior is on the cusp of a lot of opportunity and it’s certainly going to change tomorrow night. I think we have so much more going for us then our challenges that are holding us back and I think we’re really going to move this city forward. We have so much to be proud about and excited about in this city,” says Jim Paine.

“I think the city is, there’s room for improvement. There’s room for improvement on many different levels. My whole platform has gone over some of those areas whether its housing, business there’s many different areas that we can improve and that what I expect to do. That’s what my passion would be. My vision would be to improve the areas that need improvement,” says Brent Fennessy.

Polls are open from 7 a.m – 8 p.m.
