City Of Superior Has New Mayor
Jim Paine Wins 58% Of The Vote
Officially with 58% of the vote, Jim Paine is now the Mayor of Superior. Paine defeated City Councilman Brent Fennessey by over 700 votes. Paine announced his candidacy back in October of 2016 when then Mayor Bruce Hagen decided it was time to step down. Jim Paine is allowed to start moving into the Mayor’s office tomorrow.
Current Mayor Bruce Hagen will officially retire April 14th.
Jim Paine your new Mayor of Superior will officially be sworn in on April 18th at the City Council meeting.
Brent Fennessey will remain in office as a City Councilor and says he’s excited to continue to work with Mayor Paine.
