Garage Fire Breaks Out in Superior

No Injuries Were Reported, the Cause of the Fire Remains Under Investigation

SUPERIOR, Wisc. – A garage fire in Superior kept firefighters busy shortly after 10 Monday night.

Crews responded to the structure fire at 5410 Hammond Avenue.

When fire officials arrived all occupants were out of the structure.

Smoke was coming from the attic area above the garage, and fire could be seen on the exterior of the garage wall.

There were no injuries reported.

No fire, smoke, or water damage occurred to the living areas of the home. However, damages are estimated at $10,000 dollars.

Three Engines, 10 firefighters and a Battalion Chief responded.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
