Homegrown Music Festival Photo Showcase on Display
Local photographers capture the essence of the music festival.
Duluth, Minn. – Duluth’s Homegrown Music Festival is in full swing and a huge part of the week-long event is all about those photo–worthy moments. The Homegrown Photography showcase is on display at the Red Herring Lounge on East First Street. The local photographers’ shots capture the spirit of the festival on and off stage.
“It’s not just photos of people in bands, although there is some of that,” Duluth Art Institute director Anne Dugan said. “It’s also photos of capturing what it feels like to be at Homegrown.”
The Duluth Art Institute is giving out 30 disposable cameras to the participants. Some of those photos will be on display at the end of the festival.
