Book Options for Spring Reading

Coffee Conversation: Books Sparking Discussions

DULUTH, Minn. – For this week’s Midwest Roaster’s Coffee Conversation we’re highlighting some books perfect for Spring reading.

Shari Illig, Community Business Development Manager for Barnes and Noble, gave a couple recommendations.

Illig says both books would make great book club books because they spark conversations.

The first recommendation is titled, “The Stranger in the Woods” by, Michael Finkel.

This is based on a true story of a man who lived in the woods of Maine for 27 years before being discovered.

The second book is titled “The Women in the Castle” by, Jessica Shattuck.

This follows three women in Bavaria, Germany during World War II.

They struggled with the reality of what terrible actions were happening in their country.

To purchase these or learn more about them, head to Barnes and Noble at the Miller Hill Mall, or head to barnesandnoble.com.
