Porter’s Restaurant to Undergo Rebranding and Remodel

Renovations are estimated at $1 million

DULUTH, Minn. – Porter’s Restaurant announced Wednesday that it will undergo a major transformation including a new name, fresh look, and updated menu.

Starting on May 30, the restaurant will temporarily close to begin the $1 million renovations.

Porter’s has been serving visitors and locals in downtown Duluth inside the Holiday Center, for over 30 years.

“We are excited to begin our next chapter of serving Duluthians with this significant restaurant transformation,” Gerry Goldfarb, General Manager of the Holiday Inn & Suites Duluth said. “Through a major renovation and repositioning, we will provide Duluth and our hotel guests with a fresh new dining option. Duluth is undergoing major changes and improvement , and we are changing along with it to meet the evolving needs of today’s dining customers. We look forward to sharing the details of the new restaurant, theme, and menu with the community in the months ahead.”

The transformation of the restaurant is a continuation of Lion Hotel Group’s investment in downtown Duluth over the last four years. The company reports that it has invested $6 million in renovations projects within the Holiday Center.
