New Event Planned for Fourth of July Weekend
Duluth Culture Celebrated at Festival
DULUTH, Minn.-A new festival will kick off the Fourth of July weekend at Bayfront Festival Park.
A new festival will kick off the Fourth of July weekend at Bayfront Festival Park. Lundeen Productions and Twin Ports Entertainment will team up for the event which will feature food, live music, beer, and a variety of displays that are homegrown.
“There isn’t anything like this event going on,” Tracy Lundeen, of Lundeen Productions. “We’ve got some great festivals … this really is a family friendly event.”
One of the big points of the festival is to celebrate Duluth’s past, along with its future.
“Bayfront Festival Park is a perfect venue for it and we’re celebrating localism and the rich cultural heritage,” said Walt Aplin, of Twin Ports Entertainment.
