New Superior Police Officers Sworn In

Family and Friends on Hand to See Four New Officers' Special Moment

SUPERIOR, Wis. – It was a big day at the Superior Police Department. Four new officers were sworn in to serve and protect.

Police Chief Nicholas Alexander was there to set the tone of what’s ahead for these new officers. Family and friends were on hand to take in and remember this special moment before the officers hit the streets of Superior.

“I like meeting people. I like making new connections and relationships with people, building relationships in the community and that’s what I’m looking forward to most,” says Charlie Mahlen, one of the officers sworn in.

The officers still have more training before heading out on their own.
