Superior Museum Houses Wisconsin Police and Fire Hall of Fame

SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Old Firehouse Museum has opened its 1898 doors for the first time this season.

The fire house is located on 23rd Avenue East.

You can see historic firefighting equipment including the chief’s nineteenth century horse-drawn buggy, and Ahrens steam pumper.

“Seeing the old machines, the trucks, they’re from different eras, it just has a magic feel about it,” says Valerie Burke, a tour guide at the museum.

You can also check out the State of Wisconsin Police and Fire Hall of Fame.
