Pat Cadigan Remembered at International Polka Festival

Cadigan Was a Close Friend of the Chmielewski Family

HINCKLEY, Minn.- Legendary Duluth radio host Pat Cadigan, who passed away about a week ago, was remembered at the International Polka Festival in Hinckley over the weekend.

Cadigan is a member of the Polka Hall of Fame, was heavily involved in the International Polka Festival and was close friends with the Chmielewski family, who puts on the Polka festival.

“Pat actually performed with us for so many years, and way before my time, and I consider Pat my second dad because growing up with him at such a young age, oh he was just so much fun,” said Pati Chmielewski.

Cadigan passed away at the age of 81 after battling a recent illness.
