Monster Truck On Display at Duluth Car Dealership
DULUTH, Minn. —
A monster truck has made its way to Duluth, and it’s time to get up close and personal with this marvel of human ingenuity.
At Duluth Chrysler Dodge Ram up in Hermantown, the “Raminator” is on display today and tomorrow.
The truck was built by Hall Brothers Racing from Illinois.
It has more than 2,000 horsepower, weighs more than five tons, and also holds the world record for fastest monster truck.
Mike Miller, a driver with Halls Brothers, says making appearances like this is just as big for his career as racing in monster truck rallies across the country.
“Whether we’re working or not we’re always going to take time out for the fans. They’re number one for us,” Miller said, explaining that he’s wanted to drive these trucks since he first saw them at the age of 6.
“It’s neat to come check them out, and see how they’re built, and stuff like that,” he said. “You know, It’s pretty cool to take something that’s that big and weighs that much and do what we can with them.”
The Hall Brothers Racing crew will demonstrate the truck’s ability to crush cars at the dealership tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 pm.
