The Great Lakes of Fine Arts Exhibit Showcases Students Work

The Exhibit Shows the Students Progress Over the School Year

DULUTH, Minn.- The Great Lakes Academy of Fine Arts is hosting an art Exhibit showcasing the One year progression of the students that study there.

Six students have been studying at the academy under professional artists Jeffrey and Brock Larson since September of last year. The art exhibit which kicked off Friday, shows life like drawings the students have been working on in their first year of the four year program.

“I’ve been an artist I feel like, my whole life, I went to Art School, and this is a totally different kind of training it’s very technical, a lot of measuring, sort of right or wrong there’s no exaggerating or making things up,” said Cameron Conlon, a student at the Great Lakes Academy.

The Academy will be hosting workshops for the public throughout the year.
