Veterans Memorial Hall Reopens

New Exhibits on Display

DULUTH, Minn.-Veterans Memorial Hall had its grand reopening today.

The moment celebrated a major redesign at the facility which honors local veterans and their accomplishments.

The exhibit now includes artifacts and stories from multiple conflicts, going back to the Civil War.

“War and conflict impacts all lives,” said Jo Anne Coombe, executive director of the St. Louis County Historical Society. She went on to say that there exhibits connect people with past heroes, which could include family members.

One special area at the Hall is now dedicated to Medal of Honor winners from this area.

Much of the revamp was paid for through a grant from the Depot Foundation.
